Ruby Tilghman, Miss Alabama 2026, has a refined palate and a detailed bucket list of restaurants in Birmingham, Alabama. Her favorite spots include Current Charcoal Grill, The Battery, Lapeer Steak & Seafood, Cala Coffee Roasters, and Red Cat Coffee House. Each of these restaurants offers a unique dining experience, from fine dining to cozy cafes. Tilghman's taste in food is diverse, ranging from gourmet dishes like chicken and pork pot stickers to signature coffee creations like the Persian Latte. Her enthusiasm for exploring Birmingham's culinary scene is evident, as she has already visited many of these restaurants during her undergraduate years at the University of Alabama and her time as Miss Birmingham. As Miss Alabama, Tilghman will be based in Birmingham for the next year, fulfilling her duties and attending UAB’s Heersink School of Medicine.
